Preliminary Budget Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that the Preliminary Budget for the Town of Putnam, for the fiscal year beginning January 1st, 2025, has been completed and filed in the Town Clerks office, where it is available for inspection by any interested persons. The Town Clerks office is open Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday 9am-1pm, Wednesday by appointment.

Further notice is hereby given that the Town Board will meet, and review said Preliminary Budget and hold a Public Hearing on November 14th, at the Putnam Town Hall, and via ZOOM at 7:00pm.

At such time any person may be heard in favor of or against any item therein contained.

Pursuant to Section 108 of the Town Law, the proposed salaries of the following offices are as follows:

 Supervisor:

$21,000.00

Council Person (4) at each

$3,500.00

Town Justice:

$8,000

Town Clerk

$36,294.00

Superintendent of Highways:

$71,788.00
